【タイトル】Mobile Log Data And Personal Networks: A Multi-Method Approach
Research regarding personal networks has typically relied on self-report measures, which have known validity issues and are limited in scope. This talk will discuss a new approach to combining behavioural measures collected from mobile calling and texting logs, with traditional survey and interview measures. This approach involves a system in which an online portal is used to customize the actions of a smartphone based data collection application. I will also discuss ways of collecting mobile log data without compromising respondent privacy, and touch on ways of analyzing the large and complex data that this multi-method approach produces.
